A few days ago I wrote this post about electrolytes—what they are, why you need them, and in which foods you can find them.
Here I wanted to make that information one step more applicable, so I collected some comforting, nourishing recipes that are particularly rich in electrolytes. Electrolytes play a huge role in hydration, and they are easily depleted by common flu symptoms. Providing the body with a diverse balance of dietary electrolytes makes for a resilient immune system. If you're suffering from a cold or flu, recipes like these will speed your recovery. If you want to learn a bit more about why, take a look at the aforementioned post!
Bookmark this page and if you should find yourself feeling under the weather, nourish your body with some of these nourishing and rehydrating recipes. Take care!
